PET RESCUE
PCMS has a new pet rescue club this year and we are excited to start helping dogs and cats in the Atlanta area. So many students love and respect their families’ pets and all animals of the world. Our club will help support human education and various pet rescues in the metro Atlanta area.
Meetings: Last Friday of the month at 8:00 am in Ms. Robertson’s 6th grade classroom (pod) Mission Statement: 1) To educate students and their families about the plight of animals in high kill shelters throughout Georgia. 2) To educate students and their families about the responsibilities of pet ownership, such as spay/neuter and heartworm prevention. 2) To market pets in need of adoption from local Pet Rescues in the Atlanta Area. 3) To aid local rescues and shelters with our time, donations, and networking abilities. |
